Featuring Professor Helen Alvaré, J.D. founder of Women Speak for Themselves and advisor to Pope Benedict XVI's Pontifical Council for the Laity

Free and open to the public. Professor Alvaré will also receive the 2013 Siena Humanitarian Leadership Award.
 
Professor Helen Alvaré will explore whether women are benefitted or harmed by the government's requirement that private and religious employers pay for contraceptives including abortifacients. Parking is available for a nominal fee underneath the student center (entrance off Cretin) and at Anderson Parking Facility on Grand and Cretin. Lawyers may receive 1.5 hours of elimination of bias CLE credit through the Prolife Center of UST with a suggested a $20 donation. Register at
