Archbishop Ireland Memorial Library Lectures

The Ireland Library lecture series highlights The Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity faculty and invited guests in the presentation of academic work and focused areas of study to the SPSSOD and broader UST community. Transcripts and recordings of these presentations are available for check-out through the Archbishop Ireland Memorial Library.

The next Ireland Lecture will be on April 3, 2017. Sr. Katarina Schuth, O.S.F., Ph.D., Endowed Chair for the Social Scientific Study of Religion, will present insights from her most recent book, Seminary Formation: Recent History-Current Circumstances-New Directions (Liturgical Press 2016). She will explore the evolution and development of seminaries and anticipate challenges and principles to guide the future.
