Course Description:
The senior capstone experience offers graduating students an opportunity to actively reflect upon theory, methodology, and substantive sociological knowledge and to integrate these components to assess the role of sociology in understanding sociological problems. These issues will be explored in the context of a specific topic, chosen by the instructor. This course examines professional ethics, as well as prepares students for careers, vocations, and graduate or professional school. Prerequisite: SOCI 210 and 370 (previously 470) and SOCI 220 or concurrent registration
