On Friday, October 14th Catholic Charities and their affiliates joined the Office of Public Engagement’s weekly Community Leaders Briefing Series. The briefing series is a unique opportunity for grassroots leaders to start a two way dialogue with the White House about issues that are affecting their communities and to ensure that they are well-informed about government policies and programs and how they can use or maximize these resources.

In November, McDonald and the five other AEA students in her cohort gave a presentation, known as a Professional Development Salon, at St. Kate’s Coeur de Catherine. Dr. Barbara W. Shank, Dean, School of Social Work, was a plenary speaker at an International Scientific Conference in Mostar Bosnia and Herzgovinia. The conference was attended by over 150 international researchers and scholars.
