Dear MSW Field Instructors,
Greetings, welcome, and thank you! We are delighted to be partnering with you on this crucial component of professional social work education. This site is designed to provide some basic information on the field program and access to forms. We hope to add some new pieces, such as Frequently Asked Questions, in the next few months. If you have ideas on how the website can be most useful to you, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Our first Field Instructor Training Series workshop (FITS #1) is on September 25, from 9 – noon (registration starts at 8:30 am). Please contact Katrina Volker, (kavolker@stkate.edu or 690-6704) for information on registration and parking. Future FITS are scheduled for November 20, January 21, and March 4. New this year, we’ve expanded our Field Instructor Training to create three additional FITS for field instructors who have already attended our introductory series. Please contact me if you would like more information on this new series. Finally, save the date for our end of the year Field Instructor Appreciation training and luncheon on May 7, 2010. All of our Field programs are held at St. Catherine University campus, and more details about the programs will be coming out in the next few months.
