Purpose:
To have alumni share their experience navigating the system from graduation to clinical licensure.

Topics:
1.    LGSW exam
2.    Finding employment
3.    What is considered clinical social work?
4.    Creative ways of finding and meeting the supervision requirements
5.    Developing a supervision plan
6.    What if I change jobs?
7.    What is “seat time”?
8.    Preparing for the exam
9.    Taking the clinical exam

Structure:
A panel of alumni will tell their stories and share their perspectives of how they navigated the system from graduation to clinical licensure.  Each alumnus is in a different place in this process.  The goal is to increase your understanding of the process and lessen the “anxiety” about what it takes to navigate the system.

Who should attend??? Students interested in learning about employment, supervision and licensure processes after graduation.

Refreshments will be served.
