A new lens for working with complicated loss and grief.
Participants will:
- Be able to identify how the ambiguous loss model differs from traditional treatment modesl for loss and grief.
- Be able to identify the effects of ambiguous loss individually and relationally.
- Learn several recommended relational interventions for cases of ambiguous loss.
- Increase their understanding of the effect of working with the trauma of ambiguous loss on the therapist.
- Learn methods of increasing their own resilience when working with ambiguous loss.
