Do your supervisees' clients want to communicate by text? Get invitations to be a friend on Facebook? This workshop will provide an overview of emerging trends in technology and social media as they relate to service delivery. Grounded in current literature and practice a panel of supervisors and program managers will share their experiences and identify resources to incorporate into agency policies and supervisory practices. Participants will leave with practice guidelines and templates for creating policies and monitoring the use of social media in the conduct of ethical social work practice. Two of the three hours may be counted for ethics content.
