Summary:
In this workshop, we will review theory regarding ethics and its application to group work. Throughout the workshop ethical principles and strategies will be applied to diverse groups. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss and consult regarding ethical dilemmas encountered in their own practice.
Objectives:
1. To increase awareness and understanding of ethical considerations in group work practice.
2. To learn about the application of ethical strategies in diverse groups.
3. To learn strategies for managing conflict related to differing values in a group.
4. Explore the possibilities of ethical dilemmas within the context of agency and community.
