Social Work for Social Justice highlights our emphasis on social responsibility and respect for human rights. Our Interprofessional Center for Counseling and Legal Services (IPC) provides services to the working poor of the Twin Cities. Our Clinical Practice, Group work, Spirituality, and Supervision Institutes offer continuing professional education programs meeting continuing education standards for social work licensure. BSW students are involved in service-learning projects and MSW students engage in clinical practice research. Every year, students participate in Social Work Day at the Capital, organized by the National Association of Social Workers - Minnesota Chapter, to advocate for social policy that promotes social justice.
