
Lincoln International High School is a charter school in downtown Minneapolis designed as a private school for international students, particularly for students who can benefit from an English immersion curriculum with native-language support. Founded in 1997, it now serves more than 200 students from around the world, most of whom are refugees and immigrants from Africa and Latin America.
The University of St. Thomas has enjoyed a service-learning partnership with Open Arms of Minnesota since 2004. Open Arms is an organization that prepares meals for and delivers meals to people living with HIV/AIDS, MS, ALS, and breast cancer.
Cristo Rey Jesuit High School is the only school of its kind in Minnesota. As a private, Catholic, college-preparatory high school sponsored by the Society of Jesus, a Roman Catholic religious order of priests and brothers, Cristo Rey serves students of diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds from families with low incomes from the Twin Cities area.
