I am a senior majoring in Biology of Global Health with a Public Health Studies minor. I am so excited to be a director for VIA this year. I am a junior majoring in Elementary Education and one of the site leaders for Adopt a Grandparent. I am passionate about what we do because I see the impact it has on the residents’ days and their overall happiness. It is so cool to make the residents feel heard and through that come to mean something to one another. Added bonus: lots of laughs!

I am a senior and I am majoring in Psychology and minoring in Exercise Science. I am one of the leaders for Adopt-A-Grandparent! I am very passionate about volunteering with VIA because I have a love for helping people and making a  difference in someone’s life. This year, I am excited for all the new volunteers to join our team!

Born up north in Kenora, Ontario, Canada. Jonathon spent the majority of his life in northern Minnesota but found his love for music and the guitar when he was in 5th grade out on the East coast of Canada living in Miramichi, New Brunswick. He has been playing, writing, and performing ever since. Jonathon has played with a wide spectrum of musicians ranging from amateurs to professionals while performing across all genres, from contemporary orchestra and classical to folk, jazz, country, and rock n roll. Jonathon runs two clubs at St. Thomas: Music industry club and Harmony Crew where musicians visit senior residences and perform for the residents

I am a Senior majoring in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology with hopes of becoming a Physical Therapist. I am from Wisconsin and I am a huge Packer fan! I love VIA because of the impact volunteering could have on a person's daily life.

I am a senior majoring in biochemistry with the hopes of becoming a physician assistant. I love VIA because volunteering is a great way to get in the community around UST and give back. Nothing is better than putting a smile on someone’s face!

I am a junior majoring in Biology with Sustainability and Spanish minors. I am a co-leader for the St. Mark’s site, and I love working with the staff/faculty and students. They welcome all our wonderful VIA volunteers into their community, and it’s a mutually beneficial relationship. I’m looking forward to another year of volunteering with such welcoming people where they are truly thankful for all the volunteers they have.

I am a junior majoring in Exercise Science with plans on going into Occupational Therapy. I am a co-leader for the St. Mark’s site, and I love VIA because I love being able to give back to the community. The students/teachers/parent volunteers at St. Mark’s are all so welcoming and are so appreciative of all the work we do. Being able to watch relationships form between the volunteers and the staff/students at St. Mark’s is truly rewarding.

Bio: I am a senior finance and economics major. Within VIA, I volunteered at Boys and Girls Club and am excited to be one of the site leaders for The Jeremiah Project. Seeing the positive impact we can have on the kids in a short few weeks keeps me coming back each and every week. After a long week, nothing beats working with energetic kids!

I am a junior majoring in Accounting. I am very excited to be a director for VIA at the Jeremiah Project this year. VIA is the highlight of my week because I can make a positive change in many children’s lives. The kids at the Jeremiah Project are so appreciative of all our volunteers. I’m looking forward to another year of volunteering with loving, energetic kids!
