It’s time to give back to the St. Thomas community that has supported us over the years!
UST seniors have a rich tradition of leaving a class legacy for future Tommies. The class of 2009 will embrace this tradition while raising the bar for future classes.
Working together as St. Thomas’ 123rd graduating class, we want to reach a 50% giving rate for our Senior Class Gift.
The class of 2009 is giving its gift to the university to help build the new Anderson Student Center. As we all know, St. Thomas can really use a new space for students to get together and socialize, and the Anderson Student Center will be "the" place for decades to come.
We would love to have every senior contribute to this effort, but our minimum goal is to get 50% class participation before commencement, so that we can announce our impressive accomplishment in front of the whole St. Thomas community. Participation is the key, and any gift, large or small, will help us reach our goal.
The Old Guard alumni (St. Thomas graduates of 50 or more years ago) and the St. Thomas Parent Network generously have challenged us to reach our goal of 50% participation.
Here's the deal: For every 10% of the class that contributes to the Senior Class Gift through June 30, 2009, the Old Guard and Parent Network each will give $2,000 toward our effort, up to $10,000 each! That's a possible $20,000 addition to what we ourselves raise!
With the collective gifts of all involved, we can make a great contribution to the new student center!
There are three easy ways to support our effort:
Please help our class leave this important legacy by responding positively to the 2009 Senior Class Gift campaign!
