November Lunch'n Explore: Jumping into the Mouth of the Wolf

Lunch'n Explore programs feature presentations by prominent speakers from the area in luncheon talks that include table conversation and opportunities for questions and answers.  Enjoy a good lunch and join in conversation and discussion.

Event SpeakerDon Shelby is considered the most decorated local television journalist in America.  He has won three National Emmys, the Columbia DuPont, the Distinguished Service Award from the Society of Professional Journalists and twice won the George Foster Peabody, the broadcast equivalent of the Pulitzer Prize.  He continues his work in journalism and documentary film.

Event Description:  Despite what we might think, we are all afraid of something.  Fear keeps us from doing the things we dream of.  Don, using stories from his own career and life, will explain the process that leads to the courage to lead fearless lives.

Event Cost:  $25.00 per person; if you require a vegetarian meal or other dietary accommodation, please include a note with your registration form with this information, or call the Center office at least eight days prior to the event with this information.  (Registration deadline for this event is October 30 and payment must be at the Center by this date.)
