Climate Change-What Do We Really Know?

Lunch'n Explore events feature presentations by prominent speakers from the area in luncheon talks that include table conversation and opportunities for questions and answers.  Enjoy a good lunch and join in conversation and discussion.

Event Description:  Dr. John Abraham will present the basic science of climate change.  He will discuss what is known, what questions still remain, how the climate in the future will differ from today's, and what we can do to prepare.

Event Speaker:  Dr. John Abraham is a professor of thermal sciences at the University of St. Thomas.  His research is in the area of heat transfer and fluid mechanics.  He has published nearly 100 journal articles and book chapters on a variety of topics.  Among his areas of expertise are the development of clean and renewable energy for the developing world, and climate monitoring.
