Out and About with the Center

Did you know that the Center offers at least one off-campus learning experience every semester?  As an outreach program of the University, our mission is to provide lifelong learning experiences for persons age 50 and better.  When we had a change in director in 2009, the Center took on the additional challenge of getting out into communities to bring our learning experiences to areas with large populations of older learners as an extension of our outreach mission.

We are pleased to be out in the community this spring at Lumen Christi Catholic Community for a course with Professor Art Zannoni.  The course, titled “Studying and Praying the Psalms,” begins on February 5 at 12:30 p.m.  There is still space available and walk-up registrations will be accepted the first day of class.  If you’d like to know more about this class, follow this link:  http://www.stthomas.edu/selimcenter/programs/lectures/psalms-zannoni/
