Division of Sciences & Mathematics
The Division of Sciences and Mathematics consists of six undergraduate departments: Biology, Chemistry,  Geology, Mathematics, Physics, and Computer and Information Sciences.  We offer ten baccalaureate and master's programs housed within the Frey Science and Engineering Center, which opened September of 1997.
Our vision of science education in the 21st century is to:
  • bring students to the cutting edge of their disciplines
  • emphasize communication technologies and integrate them throughout the science curricula
  • capitalize on the liberal arts strength of St. Thomas
  • stress the importance of ethics and values in science instruction
