I would like to cater to the interests of upper-classmen in Morrison by planning programs according to the characteristic challenges of being busy with their demanding schedules. Because they have moved on fro the high-spirited environment of freshmen halls, I want to ensure that they feel community throughout my programming to enhance their excitement for UST culture. I would love to do more Twins games next fall, turn bagel Thursday into a weekly deal, and have holiday events catered around making something. My busy building-mates seem very receptive to these activities and I would love to make this happen!

As president of Morrison I will look to establish a renewed sense of hall pride. This will be achieved by hosting events that will bring students together and more involved on campus. By electing me you are choosing someone who will spend the money for you, given by RHA, on activities and programming that you actually want to do. My experience on RHA and Brady Hall Council has given me many ideas into how we can make Morrison a truly fun and exciting place to live.

I would love to be a part of Morrison Hall Council for the academic year of 2008-2009, because I enjoy planning all different types of events for students on campus. My goals are to have multiple events throughout the year for not only Morrison Hall, but for students’ campus-wide. I would like to plan events that no one has ever done before, as well as events that everyone already loves. I am very organized and love using new ideas to promote events. I was on Murray Hall Council in 2007-2008 and enjoyed it very much; therefore, I have experience and would love to do more with my ideas and creativity. I love advertising and enjoy working with others to promote new and fun occasions.
As a Hall Council member I will concentrate on bring Morrison to a new level of community feel. I want the people to get to know new people that they live near and feel comfortable in going to events that we put together. I would like to make sure that there is always something fun to do where people can get to know other people around them.
As a hall council member I plan to use the ideas and motivation that I supply to Brady in the 2007-2008 school year to Morrison next year. I know how the system works, how to get stuff done that the residents would enjoy, and how to work well with my council members. With my past experience and ability to balance council with academics I will be a perfect addition to the council.
