Ireland Hall Election Form

Hall Council Election form for IRELAND Hall residents

Hall Council Candidates

Mike Berken, Freshman

I want to try to continue the long standing traditions of I-hall, and bring new and exciting events to the hall.

Perry Chicos, Freshman

My name is Perry Chicos. I am currently a freshman in Ireland Hall. I am running for Hall Council because I know I can help in any way to do what is right for Ireland. Throughout high school I participated in Student Council for three years, one of which I was our senior class V.P. and was the V.P. for the Southeastern Division of Student Councils in Minnesota. I have great leadership skills and an very outgoing. I would love to get to know everyone and keep a strong tradition of community and brotherhood all throughout the year. I can make it happen.

Taylor Heinlein, Freshman

As a member of the Hall Council I will make it my job and responsibility to listen to any suggestions or ideas given to me and to do my best to make sure that you are heard. I will also work for you in trying to make every event for Ireland a very memorable one so that in years to come you can all reminisce on how great it was to live in Ireland Hall, and how in now way would you sacrifice those memories for a bigger room in Brady.

Jacob McChesney, Freshman

My goals for being a member of the hall council is to create activities that will appeal to everyone not just a specific group of people. Also ask around and see what people really want to do for activities. My goals are to also just have a really fun time and meet a lot of great people.

Lewis Segl, Freshman

The reason that I want to join the Hall council is to meet new people and to try and provide a good time for everyone else. I want to be able to be a sort of spokesperson for out community and I want to be able to be given some responsibility so that I am able to prove myself. I will show you that I am a hard worker and I will benefit the council and community if I were on this council.

Brett Stone, Sophomore ^

I’m a sophomore who chose to come back and live in Ireland for another year. I attended all the events from the Super Bowl Party to the Black light Dance, so I know what went well and what didn’t. Also, being the Tommies After Dark intern on STAR, I have experience planning fun events on campus. I hope to bring this experience to Hall council in order to ensure many more fun times in good ol’ I-Hall.

Jacob Wakem, Freshman

BANG!!!!

I thought I would start out with a bang because a “bang” is exactly what I want to bring to the council. My goals and objectives consist of fun and excitement in a safe environment. Being a student, I want to plan, organize, and orchestrate activities for other students to engage in. A key goal of mine is to get students excited for planned activities. I want to utilize my intended major (public relations) to create a buzz circulating around campus regarding our events. Combining safety and excitement, I hope to be a new, fresh face in Hall Council!

Alex West, Freshman

Recently I have been communicating with many fellow Ireland Hall residents and we have come to a few startling conclusions. A couple of them being: we love Ireland, we want to do more things as a group. I feel that Ireland is a special place due to the necessary bonding that needs to take place to properly function in such small living quarters. I believe this is a perfect attribute to utilize while planning freakishly fun events.
