As president of Dowling Hall Council, I feel I can help make the 2008-2009 RHA year one of the best ones yet. Through my great interpersonal skills, take-charge attitude and my ability to delegate, I feel that I would be great in a leadership position. As the only returning member of Dowling Hall Council, I have plenty of experience with the beginning, middle and end of planning programming for our fabulous residence hall! Some of the ideas I have for events next year are the reappearance of Noodles & Co. night, Old Lady Bing 3, Father-Daughter-Dance of course and new events involving Acme Comedy, paint pottery and bring more outside food on campus! Cleveland Wok, anyone? Let’s make next year the best since Dowling was built!

I spend a lot of time on campus and would love to see more events take place on the weekends for students to partake in. I attended some of the events hosted by RHA this year, and I would enjoy organizing these events and making friends in the process! In high school I was a member of various organizations (such as prom committee), I have experience in putting events together and making them a “hoot and a holler!” I would like to have more events like “oodles of noodles.” I would like to be a great addition to hall council because I’m a hard worker, devoted, organized, and super-fun!

 

Anna Bailey, Freshman

HI! My name is Anna Bailey and I am going to be a sophomore next year. This will be my second year living in Dowling and I am very dedicated to my school work and everyday life. I work well in group situations and can handle any task at hand. I am very organized and creative person. I would love to help plan and execute fun activities for the women in the residence hall. This way we can build a strong community. I would feel privileged and honored to be apart of the Residence Hall Association for Dowling Hall Council.
