2017-2018 Special Interest Area Locations

First-Year Experience (FYE) Special Interest

To support our first year students with the transition from high school to college, with getting connected to the campus community, and with building lasting relationship, we offer First-Year Experience communities within our residence halls.

Twin Cities Experience Special Interest

This community is for students who are looking to build a stronger connection with the campus and surrounding area.  In the Twin Cities Experience community, students will be assigned a roommate who is also coming to St. Thomas from outside of Minnesota or from outside of the Metro Area.

Sophomore-Year Experience Communities

During the second year of college, students often find themselves starting to take courses in their major, exploring study abroad options, and looking forward to internship opportunities. Apartment buildings at 2151 Grand Avenue houses 52 students and 2085 Grand Avenue houses 40 students. Amenities include common kitchen, interactive and updated lounge space and updated living accommodations.

Catholic Men's and Women's Communities
