Deadline Dates for Course Section Entry

Representatives from the Registrar's Office, Facilities/Scheduling, and course schedulers on the undergraduate and graduate levels met to discuss a new schedule for rolling courses, deadlines to have course sections entered, and a deadline regarding when rooms will be loaded into the system.  Below are the schedules that came out of this meeting. 

We roll all course sections for all terms for the next academic year (fall, j-term, spring, summer) on October 15 (or the closest business day to October 15).  

2007-2008 schedule will be rolled on October 13, 2006. 

The actual deadlines for you to have all of your sections entered and your classroom information in the system to allow faciltiies/scheduling to assign rooms is as follows. 

Data entry deadlines for graduate and undergraduate coordinators

Facilties scheduling will send out an email listing the deadline date and entry instructions.  Please note, if the dates below fall on a weekend, facilties scheduling will choose the next closest business day.

Fall:  March 1 for St. Paul     May 1st for the graduate Minneapolis programs
J-Term:  June 15
Spring:  September 15
Summer:  October 15

Facilities will have the rooms finalized in the system by
Fall:  March 15
J-Term:  July 1
Spring:  September 30
Summer:  October 30
