Banner Linking Form

Banner Course Linking Request

Instructions:

1) Please enter your sections in Banner Schedule. Then complete all fields below. Allow approximately 2 business days to process this request.

2) When the form is complete, please click on the submit button at the bottom of the page. This form will be sent directly to the Registrar Office. You will receive confirmation by e-mail when your linked courses have been coded.

3) Questions regarding linked coding should be directed to kjsmidt@stthomas.edu.

4) This form is set up so that you may request one to one linking or one to many linking and many to many linking.

One to One EXAMPLE: BIOL 101 01, linked to BIOL 101 51. This scenario means that you must take section 01 with section 51.

One to Many EXAMPLE: BIOL 101 01 linked to BIOL 101 51, BIOL 101 52, or BIOL 101 53. This means that you can take BIOL 101 01 with either section 51, 52, or 53.

Many to Many EXAMPLE: BIOL 101 01, 02, 03 linked with BIOL 51, 52, 53. This scenario means that you can take any combination of lecture and lab.

Because there are so many variables, this form allows for the entry of many sections.

As a reminder, linked courses will always have the same subject and number, such as BIOL 101.

Then list the section such as 01, 02, WITH 51, 52 and the CRN for each section.
