Online training videos and quizzes are available for University of St. Thomas faculty and staff members. Network authentication is necessary in order to access the videos.  You may or may not be prompted to enter your network username and password on campus.  If a username and password prompt appears, please enter that information to access the training videos.

Peruse the descriptions below and click on the corresponding link to view the online training video and quiz.  After viewing the video, complete the quiz that follows the end of the video and then have your supervisor complete the Banner access request form.  This is required in order to process your security access.

Academic History 8.1.1  
This video covers Internet Native Banner Academic History for query (read) access. In this video you will view the form SGASTDN and learn how to look up a student's program, majors, minors and concentrations.  You will also learn how to view course summaries, GPAs, class rosters, degree summaries, view test scores, current registrations, view advisors, and view holds. (Total course approximately 35 minutes)

View course templates and section information including enrollments, pre-reqs, co-reqs, and test scores.  (Total course approximately 29 minutes)

Common Matching 7.3 (GOAMTCH) (Updated video coming soon)
This video covers the procedures associated with adding a new person to Banner using the Common Matching tool GOAMTCH. (Total course approximately 12 minutes)

Faculty Load Training (Updated video coming soon)
Learn how to enter faculty load and enter releases (now called non-instructional assignments).  This video is for query access (to view information) and maintenance access (to do data entry).  After you have viewed this video, please have your supervisor fill out the online access request form.  (Total course approximately 35 minutes)

Grading (Internet Native Banner) 8.1.1 
View this video to learn how to enter grades in Internet Native Banner for current courses, and how to change grades in academic history for prior courses and courses that have been rolled into history.  You may also view this video for query access. (Total course approximately 25 minutes)

View this video to learn how to enter grades, view class lists, waitlists, how to enter registration overrides, view transcripts, and degree evaluations and remove undergraduate advising registration holds.

View student schedules, student registration audit trails, course enrollments, student's advisor, student enrollment history, and course class lists. (Total course approximately 19 minutes)

SGASADD training video for student attributes 8.1.1
View this video to learn how to enter student attributes for student discounts.  This is available to a small group of end users who are responsible for entering, and deleting these attributes. Time ticketing maintenance training 8.1.1 
Learn how to assign a time ticket to an individual student and view existing time ticketing group codes. (Total course approximately 9 minutes)
