Banner Online Training Videos

Online training videos and quizzes are available for University of St. Thomas faculty and staff members. Network authentication is necessary in order to access the videos.  You may or may not be prompted to enter your network username and password on campus.  If a username and password prompt appears, please enter that information to access the training videos:  Training Resources Center - Intranet

Banner Online Training Videos for New Faculty & Staff

New Faculty or Staff should submit their request for access to Banner Student Screens to RegBannerAccess@StThomas.edu. Please include the following information;  Full Name, UST ID# , Username, and the Banner screens needed for the position/department.

Adjustment Training I: How to Copy Data
This video covers the procedures for copying existing data into a degree evaluation adjustment.  (Total course approximately 7 minutes).

Adjustment Training II: How to View and Update
This video covers the procedures for viewing and updating an existing degree evaluation adjustment.  (Total course approximately 6 minutes).

Adjustment Training III: How to Delete
This video covers the procedures for deleting an existing degree evaluation adjustment.  (Total course approximately 7 minutes)

SHADEGR Training
This video provides information on SHADEGR, the Banner degree and commencement form. You will learn about status codes found on this form and how they are used to track students for graduation and commencement.  (Total course approximately 12 minutes).

SHADIPL Training
This video provides information on SHADIPL, the Banner diploma form.  You will learn when and how to enter diploma names in Banner.  (Total course approximately 3 minutes).

Substitution training 
This video covers the procedures for entering a course substitution in Banner, and includes a Frequently Asked Questions segment.  (Total course approximately 10 minutes).

Waiver training 
This video covers the procedures for entering a course waiver in Banner, and includes a Frequently Asked Questions segment.  (Total course approximately 10 minutes).
