Request a grade mailer? Grade mailer requests will not be held until grades are posted. If no grades have been recorded, then your request can not be processed. You would then need to submit another "grade mailer request" -- or -- view/print your grades via your Murphy account. Grade mailer requests should be sent to: registrar@stthomas.edu. Please include your name, student ID#, the term grades are being requested, and address where grade mailer should be sent to.

Remove a hold to release my transcript? Contact the office who applied the hold and request that they remove it. Holds may be viewed on Murphy Online.
Remove a grade of "I" or NR? CONTACT YOUR INSTRUCTOR. The instructor needs to fill out a grade change form and submit it to the registrar's office for undergraduate courses and the appropriate graduate office for graduate courses.
Know when I'm eligible to graduate? You should continually review your degree evaluation with your adviser. In addition, you will receive notification from the Registrar's Office if you are an undergraduate. Graduate students should contact their graduate school.
Know if I can participate in the commencement ceremony? You will receive notification from the Registrar's Office if you are an undergraduate. If you are ineligible to graduate, but would like to participate in the commencement ceremony (valid number of credits apply) then you must request to participate. Please contact Barbara Rath in the Registrar's Office for more details.
Request approval to seek a second major/minor? Contact Academic Counseling at 651-962-6300
Receive my official diploma? Your diploma will be mailed to you approximately 8 weeks after all requirements are verified as completed and you have a zero tuition balance.
Order a replacement/duplicate diploma? Contact Barbara Rath. The fee is $20. The request must be made in writing and include the following information: Your name as it should appear on your diploma, your UST ID or Social Security Number, your degree and year of graduation, your mailing address and your signature. Payment must accompany your request.
Change my name on an existing diploma or student record? Submit a legal document showing the name change and include a written request a new diploma. Please include the necessary details as listed under "order a replacement/duplicate diploma" and see legal documents as listed under Personal Information "Change my Name".
Get the hold lifted so my diploma will be released? Contact the department who placed the hold on your account. This may be viewed on Murphy Online.
Seek readmission as a former student? Contact Academic Counseling at 651-962-6300
Notify UST that I've been called to military service? Any student who has been called into active duty or has been placed on ready status, should contact the Academic Counseling Office for assistance with their continued enrollment and refund of their tuition. Their telephone number is 651-962-6300.
Request a substitute/waiver for a course? Contact your faculty advisor or Academic Counseling.
Change my name? Submit a signed letter with one of the following legal documents. The signed letter and legal documents may be faxed (651-962-6710), mailed (University of St. Thomas Registrar's Office - AQU 106, 2115 Summit Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55105) or delivered to our office directly. Legal documents: Social Security Card - Must have correct name (a copy of both sides of the card are required). Also, the number on the card must match the one that we have in our system. Marriage License - A copy with both the previous and changed name must be included in the document. Divorce Papers - A copy with both the previous and changed name must be included in the document. Court Ordered Documentation - A copy with both the previous and changed name must be included in the document.
