There are many resources available in the psychology department for current psychology majors. The two computer labs in the lower level of the JRC building offer a wide range of resources specifically for psychology majors. These labs are open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. -9:00 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and Sunday from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. In addition, these labs are staffed by Educational Assistants in the evenings (Monday through Thursday, 4:30 - 9:00 p.m. and Sunday evenings, 6 - 9 p.m.). The EA's are available for tutoring, research help, help looking for a job or an internship, assistance in applying to grad school, helping to make copies for research projects, study groups, or whatever other psychology-related questions and/or issues you might have. It's a great place to bounce ideas off of each other or just get a feel for what's going on in the world of psychology.
In addition, the labs have binders of internship opporrtunities, volunteer positions, and job openings (located in JRC LL09) as well as helpful information about graduate schools and other professional options (located in JRC LL49) after the University of St. Thomas.
