| This course provides an overview of the principles of testing and measurement, particularly as they relate to the practice of psychology and education. The course examines the theories underlying individual and group-administered tests in such areas as intelligence, aptitude, achievement, interests, personality, neuropsychological and educational tests. Various controversial issues in the field of testing will also be addressed including ethics, bias, computer-based assessment, and testing of special populations. Prerequisite: PSYC 212 |
