Message From The Chair, Dr. Ann Johnson

Welcome to the UST Psychology Department!  If you're interested in studying psychology, this is the place to be.  Our greatest asset is our faculty.  We have 10 committed, fulltime, award-winning faculty members who are master classroom teachers and skilled research mentors.  Our faculty members are excited about involving students in their research.  Our classroom and laboratory facilities foster that engagement by providing students with the technology and materials needed to pursue exciting new research questions.  This year we open a new animal laboratory that will create all kinds of opportunities for neuroscience research.

Whether in the laboratory or the classroom, psychology faculty are excited to introduce you to the endlessly fascinating study of the human mind and human behavior.  Our graduates will attest to the quality of the faculty.  As 2007 graduate Kristin Hawkinson (pictured here) puts it:
