Training Facilities
Personal Counseling and the Career Development Center are located on the third floor of Murray-Herrick Campus Center, the heart of student activity on the campus. The result of a substantial endowment, our offices were designed specifically for counseling center functions. The modern facilities include:
- Individual, newly carpeted, private offices equipped with Logitech(R) video cameras, as well as personal computers linked with the University mainframe with literature searches, data analysis and internet capabilities.
- A staff lounge-conference room containing psychological journals, books, video and audio taped information. It also is equipped with video cameras and a monitor.
- A career resource center
- Consultant services
- Computerized scoring for a variety of psychological tests and interviews.
- Interns also have full use of the University's extensive library, including the psychology department library. Each holds numerous psychological books, journals and reference materials.
