Transportation Alternatives
Due to an ongoing concern with parking at the
University of St. Thomas, alternative methods of transportation are encouraged
to ease parking. Here are a few things St. Thomas employees and students
can do to help prevent parking problems and to aid in resolving problems:
- Make a definite effort to carpool whenever
possible. Check out the car pool board, located by the lounge on the
first floor of Murray-Herrick Campus Center.
- Sign up for a St. Paul Rideshare Permit at
Public Safety:
o
Premium parking spots are set-aside for participants in lots G and
H.
o
Two or more people (limit of 8) with a valid UST parking permit
may apply for the free Rideshare permit
- Use
the city bus system, Metro Transit.

Monthly discount passes are available at Public Safety and Parking
Services and at the Bookstore. Check out reduced
