Assessment and Recovery

When structural or physical damage occurs as the result of unexpected situation, i.e., accidents, natural disasters, etc., the Physical Plant Department will coordinate the assessment of and recovery from the incident.

The Physical Plant Department will provide immediate and necessary responses to secure facilities and limit the extent of damage.

Assessment:

After providing immediate repair and securing the site, the Physical Plant Department will establish teams of individuals including outside resources to determine the extent of damage.

Recovery:

Along with the Crisis Response Team, the Physical Plant Department will develop a plan to restore all related structural and physical damages and coordinate the recovery.
