May 19th, 2011 we hosted a breakfast for district administrators to discuss this year's progress and project developments. We showcased student and district examples demonstrating the positive impact PROJECT2EXCEL has had in the classrooms and for the families participating in the parent workshops.
April 4th, 2011, we had a Teacher Topic Day on Assistive Technology for the Classroom.
The teachers participating in the online coursework will begin work on the final Twice-Exceptional course in the certification series developed by Professor Rogers as part of the collaboration between PROJECT2EXCEL and the University of St. Thomas. Completion of this sixth course, the practicum, will result in Twice-Exceptional Certification. We applaud these wonderful teachers for their hard work and dedication!
These cutting-edge on-line Twice-Exceptional Certification courses have been officially adopted by the Higher Learning Commission. A new cohort will start in January 2012. Additional information will follow as it becomes available.
