- Bailey Elementary School is the site for PROJECT2EXCEL in the South Washington County Public School District.
- South Washington County School District is a suburban district located southeast of St. Paul. The district includes all or parts of the communities of Cottage Grove, Newport, St. Paul Park, Woodbury, and Afton, Denmark, and Grey Cloud Island Townships, an area of 84 square miles. The population of the district is approximately 100,000 people, including the 16,650 students who attend district schools. Fifteen elementary schools serve student in grades K-5, four middle schools serve students in grades 6-8, and three comprehensive high schools serve the district's grade 9-12 students. In addition, an Alternative Learning Center is in place for secondary students.
- The majority of students in South Washington County schools are served within the cluster classroom model in elementary and middle schools throughout the district. In addition, Gateway is a program for students in South Washington County Schools who are highly gifted and have exceptional abilities. It currently serves students in grades 3-5 and is located at Bailey Elementary.

Nancy Vague is the Coordinator of Gifted and Talented Services for South Washington County School District 833, a suburban district located southeast of St. Paul. South Washington County Schools serve a population of 100,000 people, including the 16,800 students who attend district schools.
Nancy has worked on behalf of gifted learners as both a classroom teacher and coordinator. She graduated from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts degree in education and earned a Master’s degree in Learning Technology from the University of St. Thomas. Nancy Vague continues to advocate for all gifted learners.

Kristine McDonald is a School Psychologist for South Washington County School District. She works in two elementary buildings in Woodbury, MN; Bailey Elementary and Royal Oaks Elementary. Kristine graduated from Winona State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a Master's Degree and Education Specialist Degree in School Psychology. Kristine has a passion for special education and advocates to meet the needs of all students.
