St. Thomas undertakes facilities planning in advance of each capital campaign. Three building projects have been completed on the St. Paul campus since 2009 as part of the Opening Doors campaign:
- 2012: Anderson Student Center (225,000 square feet)
- 2010: Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex (185,000 square feet)
- 2009: Anderson Parking Facility (715 spaces)
With the completion of the Anderson projects, the Board of Trustees has begun general discussions about the campus’ brick-and-mortar needs. Initial conversations have centered on St. Paul campus buildings to support additional science and engineering laboratory space, the performing arts, student housing and more classrooms.
