Board of Trustees

The St. Thomas Board of Trustees is one of the university’s most valuable assets. It includes 49 members from all walks of life. Corporate CEOs and entrepreneurs are heavily represented, including the current or former chairmen and/or CEOs of global and national firms such as 3M, Best Buy, Great Clips, KPMG International, Target and UnitedHealth Group, as well as owners or senior executives of established regional and Minnesota companies. The board also includes current and former presidents of other Catholic universities, leaders of nonprofit foundations, priests and religious.

The board and seven of its committees traditionally hold meetings in February, May and October, and the Executive Committee meets bi-monthly. The other committees are Academic Affairs, Audit/Finance, Board Affairs, Institutional Advancement, Investment, Physical Facilities and Student Affairs.
