In addition to these published books and articles, department faculty routinely present their research at state, national and international conferences.  In the last few years, for instance, faculty have presented their work at the Inter-University Research Centre for Technology, Work and Culture (IFZ) in Graz, Austria; the Midwest Political Science Association in Chicago, Illinois; the Australasian Political Science Association in Dunedin, New Zealand; the International Solar Cities Congress in Seoul, South Korea; the meetings of the International Society for People and Society in Vienna, Austria; and, of course, the annual meetings of the Minnesota Political Science Association.

Finally, department members regularly consult with a variety of governmental and nonprofit organizations, lending their expertise and insights to a range of public policy issues.
