Professor Maloney joined UST in Fall 2008.  He teaches courses in Political Theory
and American Political Thought.  His research work is on democratic constitutional theory,
and he has forthcoming papers on questions of justice in settlement law and on procedure-independent
standards for democracy. 

He is currently authoring a manuscript on the role of public deliberation in constitutional theory.
