Interests: Most of my student-centered research projects involve optics with interdisciplinary applications. I am particularly interested in using polarized light to investigate insect wings and exocuticles, objects buried in complex media, human tissues, geological samples, solid surfaces, and atomic and molecular gases. I also use matrix theory to model the optical properties of these systems. More information can be found here.
