Philosophy Club

The Philosophy Club is a student-run organization for anyone interested in philosophy. The Club hosts regular lunch-hour meetings to discuss current events and contemporary issues. Free pizza and pop are always provided.

The goal of the Philosophy Club is to introduce students to important life questions based in the field of philosophy. All Philosophy Club discussions are meant to be student led, with an open atmosphere for dialogue. Club meetings are open to anyone from St. Thomas who would like to discuss and ask questions about philosophy or anyone who would simply like to listen in on the debate.

Past topics include:
- Just War Theory
- The Problem of Evil
- Ethics in Marriage
- Media Ethics
- Fair Trade Issues
