Gary M. Atkinson has been teaching philosophy full-time since 1968. His major interest is in Platonic and Aristotelian ethics. His most recent article, "Potential Being and the Source of Cosmic Order," has been published by the International Philosophical Quarterly.  His current topic of interest is the qualities necessary for a good truth-seeker as represented in the Platonic dialogues.

Gary Atkinson's principal interests are Platonic and Aristotelian metaphysics and ethics.  He has recently authored a book "Socrates' Search for Moral Truth" which defends the existence of moral knowledge and shows what traits are necessary to gain that knowledge.
