National Testing Programs
Currently, a number of tests are administered through the testing center at the University of St. Thomas including the ACT, LSAT, PRAXIS/PLNE, and GRE Subject Tests.
Please Note: Registration for these tests is done through the testing companies NOT through the University of St. Thomas. In most cases, you can register for these exams online. Also, you can usually find test preparation information on these sites. Sometimes free sample tests are given, other times you can purchase preparation materials.
ACT
GMAT
This is NOT given at the University of St. Thomas. It is given on computer at other sites. If you have a credit card, you can register by calling 1-800-GMAT-NOW. GMAT Web Site
GRE
Only the Subject tests are given at the University of St. Thomas. The general test is a computer-based test given at other sites. If you have a credit card, you can register for the general test by calling 1-800-GRE-CALL. GRE Web Site
LSAT
Registration books are available at Personal Counseling and Testing Services, Murray-Herrick Center, room 356. LSAT Web Site
MCAT
Miller Analogies Test (MAT)

PRAXIS/PLNE
Also known as the PPST or NTE. The paper and pencil PRAXIS is given at the University of St. Thomas. The computer based PPST is given at other sites. To register go online to the PRAXIS Web site or call 1-800-853-6773. To register by phone, you must have a credit card.
SAT
This is no longer given at UST.

Campus Services
Career and Psychological Assessments
A variety of career and psychological assessments are available through our center. If you wish to take an assessment, you must see a counselor for an intake session.
Test Outs
We provide test-outs for the Graduate School of Business on the St. Paul Campus. Please call to make an appointment. Testing availability depends on space and personnel available. Limited evening hours are available. Visit the Graduate School of Business Pre-Term page to learn more about the test-out option.
Independent Study and Distance Learning Testing
We provide testing services for Independent Study and Distance Learning classes. These services are currently available for free to University of St. Thomas students. A nominal fee of $10 is charged if you are not a University of St. Thomas student. Please call (651) 962-6780 for more information and to set up a testing time.
