"We wanted to give back to the school and community that have provided us with so many opportunities in our lives. We met in class here, got married in the chapel, have earned two B.A.s and an M.B.A. We have immediate and extended family from our generation who were able to attend St. Thomas because of the financial aid that is awarded above and beyond what other schools offer. St. Thomas is not a family tradition on either side for us, but we hope to make it one."

"My annual support to the University of St. Thomas is driven by a desire to provide today’s students an opportunity to receive the same education I received. The cost of education today is a challenge. This is why I prefer to direct my giving to financial aid or to the Class of 1966 Endowed Scholarship rather than bricks and mortar projects.
I am motivated by the strong Catholic tradition and themes that run throughout St. Thomas, and I hope the university never loses that focus. The religious aspects of a college education are very important to me. I hope my support will help a student who otherwise might not be able to attend St. Thomas."

"I am a member of the University of St. Thomas President’s Council because it provides an opportunity to assist the University in carrying out one of its missions of assisting deserving students through its scholarship program. This program provides a great education experience based on moral and ethical values."
