On Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, all gifts made to the University of St. Thomas through GiveMN.org, a new online charitable-giving Web site, will be eligible for a portion of $500,000 in matching funds from The Saint Paul Foundation, the Minneapolis Foundation and the Bush Foundation. The exact amount matched per dollar donated will be determined after Give to the Max Day concludes.*
In addition to the matching funds, GiveMN funding partners are paying the transaction costs for gifts made through the online site on Give to the Max Day. This means that 100 percent of your gift will go straight to St. Thomas.

*GiveMN.org will divide the $500,000 of matching funds by the total donations. For example, if Give to the Max Day inspires $500,000 in donations, it will provide $1 in matching funds per dollar donated to an organization; if Give to the Max Day inspires $2,000,000 in donations, it will provide $.25 in matching funds per dollar donated to an organization.
