Online Request: Early Move-in for On-Campus Housing
When booking your flight to the University of St. Thomas, your arrival airport/city will be the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP).You will have to go through US Customs at the Port of Entry. Please visit our office after your arrival on campus. Our office is located on the St. Paul campus in Murray-Herrick Campus Center, Room 161.
Airport Assistance
We will arrange for Airport Greeters to meet you at the airport on the following dates:
- Friday, August 15, 2008 between 10:00 a.m.to 1:00 p.m. (10.00 to 13.00)
- Thursday, August 21, 2008 between 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. (18.00 to 22.00)
- Friday, August 22, 2008 between 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.(10.00 to 13.00)
Please notify us at least one week prior to your arrival, if you would like us to meet you at the Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) airport. Please inform us by filling out the Airport Request Form. We will meet you on the baggage claim level near Carousel 4. We will have the International Mentors meet you at the airport and other International Mentors on-campus who will take you to your residence hall. If we miss you or your flight is delayed please call (651) 962-6650 or (651) 332-9628.
At the MSP airport we will assist you in getting on the Supper Shuttle. Taxi services is also available. Both are accessible via the Tram Level in the Lindbergh Terminal of the MSP airport.
- Taxi from the MSP airport to the St. Paul campus costs approximately $25.
- Supper Shuttle to the St. Paul campus costs approximately $17.

Staying On-Campus
If you made arrangements to stay on the UST campus upon your arrival, direct your taxi to go to the University of St. Thomas, 2115 Summit Ave. St. Paul, MN 55116. You can pick-up your room keys at the Koch Desk in Koch Commons. The taxi can drop you off at Koch Commons which is between Dowling and Brady Residence Hall, please see attached map: http://www.stthomas.edu/campusmaps/stpaul/19.pdf
Koch Commons is number 19 on the St. Paul Campus map.

Temporary Housing Request
Fall 2008. If you plan to live off-campus, and have not yet located a place to rent, we can arrange temporary housing for you in the on-campus residence halls. Temporary housing is from August 15 to 10 am on August 25, 2008. Please notify us at least two weeks in advance of your arrival by completing this form.
Request to Move Into Your On-Campus Housing Early
:We recommend that International Students move in either Thurs, Aug. 21 or Fri, Aug. 22, 2008.
We encourage new students to stay with their Friendship Family Aug. 22- Aug. 25, 2008.
Students with on-campus housing reserved and who would like to move in early, should contact oiss@stthomas.edu by Aug. 11. The earliest students are able to move-in is Aug. 21. Students arriving before then should request temporary housing (see above).
