Students who have purchased health insurance from Student Assurance Service are able to use the 24-hour nurse hotline from Mayo Clinic.

Ask Mayo Clinic Nurse Line is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by experienced registered nurses who draw on the resources of Mayo Clinic to answer your health questions, and help you choose the right level of care for illnesses and injuries. Ask Mayo Clinic Nurse Line works to make your life a little easier by providing:

  • A toll-free number you can call anytime, day or night, with your health concerns
  • Access by phone to friendly, experienced registered nurses, who dedicate their knowledge and time to you
  • Reliable health information to help you make informed medical decisions
  • Instructions for caring for yourself or a sick family member at home, when appropriate
  • The reassurance of speaking to a nurse when you're not sure what to do next
