Forgiveness:
An Imperative for Healing and Reconciliation

Koch Fireside Panel: Panel: Pastor Jeff Cowmeadow,
Calvary Baptist Church, Dr Hamdy El-Sawaf, Secretary General of the
Islamic Jurisprudence Council of MN and Imam of Al-Ikhlas Mosque in
Minneapolis, Denae Fielder, Assistant Director of Campus Ministry,
University of St Thomas, Monsignor James Habiger, Pastoral Associate
for Campus Ministry, University of Saint Thomas, and Reverend Dr
Bruce Robbins, Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church.
Participants will engage in conversations on the importance of
forgiveness of oneself and of the others. Panel members representing
various faith traditions will provide insight on the over-lapping
messages teaching the importance of forgiveness and its healing
effects on individuals and communities. Light
