“The Role of Reason in Islam” Dinner and Discussion

On behalf of the Philosophy Department and the Muslim Christian Dialogue Center International Students are invited to a reception, dinner and talk on “The Role of Reason in Islam” on Wednesday, November 15.

The reception (5:15 pm) and dinner (6 pm) will take place in the Rogge-Leyden room.

The talk will be held immediately after dinner in OEC Auditorium at 7:30 pm. Our speakers will be Dr. Adil Ozdemir from our Theology Department and Dr. Ahmad Atif Ahmad from the Religious Studies Department at Macalester College.

The Role of Reason in Islam talk in OEC Auditorium is open to the campus community. Seating for the dinner and reception is limited, so please confirm by responding to Dr. Steve Laumakis @ sjlaumakis@stthomas.edu by Friday, November 10.
