How to send us news

Midterm grade deadline is Monday, Oct 31

Murphy Online for faculty is available for midterm grading. The published deadline for posting midterm grades is Monday, Oct. 31. Midterm grades can be entered only through Murphy Online for faculty.

Midterm grades are posted only for undergraduate students and generally are available for viewing until the final grading period begins. These grades are unofficial, do not appear on permanent student records and do not affect student grade-point averages.

The last day to withdraw from a class without a grade of "F" for fall 2005 classes is Wednesday, Nov. 16.

Reminder for F-1 and J-1 students:

Students are advised not to drop out of a class during the remainder of the semester even if they may be failing the class if so doing would take them below the number of credits (Undergraduate-12 credits and Graduate-6 credits) required by Immigration to maintain full time student status. Once a student drops below full time student status OISS must terminate that student in SEVIS and report the student to be out of status. This action has more important negative consequences including being deported. Any student having any difficulty in this regard should immediately see an OISS Advisor prior to dropping any class.
