during the International Fair on Oct. 20. Please bring
your home country items to OISS before October 19, 2005 so we
can display them at the International Fair. We will label your
items and return them to you after the fair. Your items help
Americans and other International Students learn more about your
home country and culture.
Also, we are looking for
students would like to present on their country and the items
they are bringing. If you are interested in participating in
these country presentations please email us at

Immigration Fees will increase on October

Dear UST International Students,
The U.S. Department of Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS)
raised the filing fees for most immigration applications and
petitions, effective October 26, 2005. All applications and
petitions mailed or filed on or after that date must contain the new
fee. The chart with the new fees can be found by clicking
here.
Call 651-962-6650 to schedule an appointment with an Immigration
Advisor. The immigration fee for OPT (form I-765) is currently $175
and will increase to $180 on October 26. See the following
