Get involved with NBMBAA or NSHMBA

Consider getting involved with the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) or the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) as a way to build your professional network.

You do not have to be “Black” or “Hispanic”, or have your MBA to be involved. Both of these organizations have vibrant and active local chapters with many opportunities to meet others with similar interests in professional development in business.

Information about NBMBAA can be found at www.nbmbaa.org. and for NSHMBA go to www.nshmba.org.

The national conference for NBMBAA will be in Atlanta, Georgia September 27-30, 2006, and there will be over 350 companies recruiting in the Career Fair on Thursday and Friday that week.

The national conference for NSHMBA will be in Cincinnati, Ohio October 26-28, 2006 with nearly 300 companies in the Career Fair on Friday and Saturday.

For details, see the web sites or you can contact David Baker, UST College of Business liaison to the local chapters at 651-962-4259 or dabaker@stthomas.edu.
